The role As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting all aircraft engineering, line, and depth maintenance.

Day-to-day, you’ll assist in the ground movement of aircrafts, as well as:

• Carry out Flight-line operations i.e. Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment. 
• Daily Check A maintenance
• Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet.
• Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment.
• Complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedure.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson.

Essential experience of the Aircraft Technician:

• Candidate should be aware of the MOD or Civilian Engineering procedures/documentation.
• Experience of the Aviation industry this can include work through college or university placements.
• Grob 115E Experience.

Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician:

• Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
