Job description
Responsible for conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical appliances to ensure they are safe to use. This role involves travelling to various client sites, performing tests, and maintaining accurate records of all inspections.

- Responsible for conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical appliances to ensure they are safe to use. This role involves traveling to various client sites, performing tests, and maintaining accurate records of all inspections.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of portable electrical appliances in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Identify and report any faults or hazards found during testing
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests conducted, including test results and any actions taken using company templates
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working order
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Relevant certification in Portable Appliance Testing (City & Guilds 2377) or willingness to train and pass within first 3 months of employment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full valid UK Driving Licence
- Ability to lift and carry testing equipment and appliances.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including offices and industrial sites
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in PAT testing or a related field is preferred
