Description
Altior Healthcare is elevating the mental health of adolescents and young adults ages 12-28 across the United States. Our family of services is comprised of three distinct mental health treatment programs and one therapeutic boarding school. With 13 unique locations, we manage and support 500 employees serving +200 residential clients daily located across five states; California, Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, and Texas.
We are excitedly looking to expand our organization and looking to eagerly welcome an Accountant to our team!
Core Responsibilities:
• Review and manage financial data within the accounting software (currently QuickBooks)
• Accounts Payable review and approve coding of AP items
• Assist in cash management, monitoring bank accounts, prepare weekly ACH/checks for
approvals and/or signatures weekly
• Key contributor in monthly financial close (8 working day close) including journal entry
spanning revenues, expenses, cash, payroll, etc
• Responsible for reconciliation preparation including cash, prepaid, accrual, PTO, payroll
• Prepare, examine, analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial
reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with GAAP
• Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset schedules
• Develop and maintain standard accounting reports including balance sheet, income
statement, departmental expense summaries, ability to prepare ad hoc reporting
• Assist with audits and prepare PBC requests/schedules as required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle
competing tasks and demands
• Department consists of 5 accounting team members, role reports to Corporate Controller
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferred
• 2-4 years of financial accounting experience, with working knowledge with US GAAP
• Team-oriented, self-starter with desire to partner with team and learn the business
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise preferred
• Experience with Treasury, Concur, Bill.com (helpful but not required)
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel experience required
• Experience in managing financial functions in a medium-sized business environment
• Position is NOT fully remote, must be able to work part-time in the office

• Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of IT systems including but not limited initially to QuickBooks Enterprise,
Paylocity, LightningStep, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Salary Description
$70,000 to $75,000
