We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for the food service industry.
R esponsibilities:
-Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including kitchen
operations, food service, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all shifts are properly staffed and that employees are trained to perform their duties
effectively.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring high quality and adherence to
company standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in
a timely manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new customers
and increase sales.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement operational policies and
procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or food service establishment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
