The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. As a barista, you will craft high-quality beverages, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items in accordance with company standards. • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment efficiently and safely. • Engage with customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas. • Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and handling. • Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and reporting shortages. • Work as part of a team to create a positive, friendly environment for customers and coworkers. • Handle cash and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required. • Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about coffee preparation and presentation. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
