We are seeking a lead barista to join our team of culinary professionals. Baristas are expected to work regular bar shifts, periodically support evening events, perform kitchen prep for specialty beverages, and manage stocking and inventory. Standard service is from 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, but will periodically include early opens or late closes and a very occasional weekend. Schedules will be coordinated accordingly. The program is fully subsidized, so there are no sales. In addition to general barista responsibilities, lead baristas are responsible for quality assurance, training and implementing guidelines, communicating schedule changes, coordinating barista support for events, ordering and inventory, developing featured and specialty beverages, and maintaining a fun and supportive work environment.
