Lilou, Downtown Knoxville’s French culinary destination, is now accepting applications for a variety of front-of-house positions, including bartender. Lilou is conducting interviews for shifts beginning in January.
Relevant experience in other craft cocktail bars is beneficial, but kindness, empathy, and the willingness to learn will outweigh technical knowledge. Candidates will need to have a natural desire to make others happy. Candidates must be self-motivated and well-organized, with a positive vibe and strong work ethic.
Behind the line at Lilou is Executive Chef Ben Tilatti, a native-born French citizen from the Basque region of Southwest France. Lilou has a French-focused cocktail, beer and wine program. The cocktail program will be curated by co-owner Jessica “Rabbit” King (Brother Wolf, Osteria Stella, Sapphire, Peter Kern Library), and the wine and beer program by co-owner and Certified Sommelier, Aaron Thompson (Brother Wolf, Osteria Stella, Sapphire).
