: We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier/Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, provide excellent customer service, and assist with maintaining the retail store's appearance. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
- Ensure accurate pricing and proper handling of transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
- Perform regular inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges promptly and courteously.
- Provide product information and assistance to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Support the team with various tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
