CEO for our 3 different shops in the United States (1 shop in Atlanta, Georgia; 1 shop in California; 1 shop in Wisconsin), responsible for overseeing all aspects (around 260 employees) of a legal entity. You report to the EVP Customer Support and Services.

This position combines the responsibility of managing the day-to-day aspects of production while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. One of your main goals is to ensure overall internal management of operations. You lead and inspire a diverse team to achieve excellence in operational performance through Supply Chain, Program, Quality, manufacturing management, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Main Missions

  • Responsibility for Production and Operations: You are responsible for overseeing production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability of operations. You ensure that production processes run smoothly, production targets are met, and delivery deadlines are respected.
  • Team and Human Resources Management: You manage all personnel on-site, including recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management of teams, as well as managing relations with unions if necessary. You ensure the safety and health of employees by ensuring that safety regulations are followed.
  • Ensuring Quality and Compliance with Standards: You are responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems. You ensure that the products repaired or manufactured meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Compliance with Regulations and Legal Obligations: You ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws regarding health, safety, environment (HSE), and labor law, as well as environmental standards.
  • Risk and Safety Management: You implement safety procedures to protect employees, facilities, and the environment. You manage industrial risks and plan responses in case of crises.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: You seek ways to improve industrial processes and maximize productivity using Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods.
  • Local Strategic Planning: You are responsible for implementing the local strategy adapted to the industrial site, translating the company's strategic objectives into specific operational goals for the site.

Complementary Missions

  • Performance Management and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): You are responsible for all the site's performance indicators and ensure rigorous monitoring of performance, implementing corrective actions when targets are not met.
  • Financial Management and Cost Optimization: You manage the site's budget, ensure cost optimization, and maintain profitability, including managing expenses and preparing financial reviews.
  • Business: You participate in global Sales and marketing initiatives to fulfill strategic planning objectives and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Relations: You maintain good relations with stakeholders involved in managing the site, representing the company to external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • General understanding of MRO operations, including scheduling, resource planning, maintenance procedures, and quality systems.
  • Creativity in finding solutions to meet assigned objectives.
  • Customer centric with strong communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated direct report and team leadership experience.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements related to operations and aircraft maintenance.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing operations, including MRO maintenance, quality, safety, and production.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to articulate market and business needs to enable growth and execution.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to different cultures.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Requires 7+ years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing/repair environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.

Specificity of the Job

Regular travel across all Safran Aerosystems Services Americas plants.
