Construction Superintendent (OSHPD)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent with expertise in overseeing healthcare construction projects compliant with OSHPD regulations. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of projects within budget and timeline while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule trade contractors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring adherence to OSHPD requirements.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to drive efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in healthcare construction or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHPD regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
