Dental Assistant

Job Title: Dental Assistant (1-Year Contract with Extension Potential)

Location: Orlando, FL

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (1 year with the possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities: -Assist dentists during dental procedures, including preparation and instrumentation. -Perform dental radiography and other diagnostic tests as needed. -Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. -Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation. -Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. -Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the dental office. -Follow all safety and infection control protocols. Qualifications: -Successful completion of a 2-year dental assistant program or a 2-year dental hygiene program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Accreditation. -The program must include at least 12 semester hours of courses. -Ability to pass a government background check. -Strong clinical skills and attention to detail. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
