About the Practice: Our client's facility is modern, fully updated, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support high-quality dentistry. With the recent addition of a Vatech CBCT Green X, the practice ensures access to advanced digital x-ray imaging. Location: Abbot Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823 Compensation: The dentist will earn 30–35% of collections, with a guaranteed minimum daily rate of $700 for an agreed-upon period. For further clarity, here’s an example from a recent hire (a 2022 graduate from Case Western Dental School): * Minimum Pay: $650 per day, equating to an annual salary of approximately $169,000 for a full-time schedule (5 days per week, 10 days per pay period). * Work Schedule: 4 days (Monday to Thursday) with a half-day every other Friday (8.5 days per pay period), ensuring a minimum of $5,525 per pay period or $143,650 annually. * Bonus Potential: If 35% of collections exceed $5,525 in a pay period, the higher amount is paid. For instance, with collections of $17,000, the dentist would earn $5,950 for that period. Qualifications: * DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school. * Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Dentistry. * Active Michigan Dental License and DEA license. * Previous experience in a clinical or private practice setting. * CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications. * Comprehensive knowledge of dental standards and trends in dental medicine. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an excellent chairside manner.
