We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Endocrinologist to join our team in Connecticut! As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will treat patients with endocrine disorders in both an office and inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care for patients with endocrine-related health conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other hormonal imbalances.
- Examine patients, obtain thorough medical histories, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide patient care.
- Provide health education and wellness promotion to patients and the community.
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate hospital-based care.
- Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation in accordance with practice and hospital standards.
- Participate in on-call coverage with a call rotation of 1 in 3.
- Supervise and mentor residents, medical students, and clinical staff.
Education & Licensing Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
- Valid Connecticut medical license or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
