Dock Team Member

Lake Keowee Marina in Seneca, SC is looking to expand our Dock team.

We are a family owned and operated marina located on 150 Keowee Marina Drive. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ethical, punctual, and reliable.

Currently looking for:

A crew member with experience working at a marina and / or extensive knowledge of boat operation

Responsibilities (But, not limited to)

• Be accountable for fuel dock, star dock, in water slip and all aspects of customer service / front of house business
• Keep a safe, clean and acceptable work place
• Interact with customers providing the highest levels of customer service
• Watch over boat ramp to assist as needed, collect ramp launch fees
• Maintain and repair all docks, walkways, gangways, fuel dock / deck, equipment as directed by Dock Master or Maintenance Manager
• Summer work will be mostly with fuel dock and rental customers, fall and winter will be small, medium and large projects around the facility

Qualifications

• The desire to work in an environment where most people come to play
• The ability to communicate clearly with staff and customer alike, this is a mid level Management position with potential for promotion to Dock Manager looking at career path.
• Eye for detail and customer satisfaction
• Marina & Boat handling experience preferred
• Desire to succeed and provide a quality service
• Looking for someone with the desire to be trained to be a Dock Master, or to advance in other areas of the marina
• Must be able to work a full shift outdoors and be able to lift items safely
