What you’ll do:
The job of the driver exists to help meet the commercial truck needs of customers by completing a sales transaction in delivering and picking up trucks in a timely, safe and courteous manner; additionally, may assist in other miscellaneous duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect cab and body before delivery
Check documentation for truck and complete entries
Coordinate the pickup and drop off of other drivers to save time
Maintain vehicle; check fluids, wash, keep maintenance log
Write gas slips, estimate gas costs
Maintain log of dealer addresses and driving directions
Track and report working hours
Obey all applicable traffic laws
Always make safety a priority
Wash car in preparation of delivery
May assist in other miscellaneous duties
What you need to be successful:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Prior Experience: Driver
Computer Skills: N/A
Technical Skills: N/A
Industry-Specific Knowledge: N/A
Language Skills: English
Valid driving license
