Electrical Engineer I

Job Title: Electrical Engineer I (Gen) Location: 1022 HALEY DRIVE, Mineral, VA, 23117 Duration: 12 Months plus Contract Job description: Description: Primary location of assignment: North Anna What is the preferred candidate location (local, non-local, remote?) and is there flexibility? Yes - HIGH preference for local and drive in candidates. Local and we can do one or two days remote, but the preference is to be on site all week.

If you are open to looking at non-local candidates will per diem be offered? Yes What schedule is the candidate required to work: 4-10s, 5-8s, or 4-9s with 1-8 every other week. Are any certification required: prefer electrical engineering background. We would like someone with 1 to 2 years experience, not necessarily nuclear, however it is a plus. Top 3 Required Skills - Not all required in this case. 1) Experience with Capital projects 2) Experience with large motor projects 3) Prior experience with large scale nuclear civil projects and designs What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)? Absolutely will be in a team environment so needs to be able to work well with others Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams. Preferred Years of Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the commercial nuclear industry or 1-2 years of experience with a Capital projects Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Civil Engineering Are there any specific companies/industries you'd like to see in the candidate's experience? Having ovation experience would be nice or the standard design change process qualification if they've worked nuclear in the past Commercial Nuclear Industry Employment Type: Contractor Salary: $ 40.00 Per Hour
