The position is a key player in the delivery and execution of FP&A and Commercial Finance activities including but not limited to strategic planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, standard business performance & commercial reporting, business modelling and post investment reviews and other business support & analysis activities to support the businesses reporting requirements.

The role holder will have autonomy and be expected to implement and improve new and existing processes, which will require the ability to influence peers, and wider stakeholders, to reach a final decision. This candidate will be able to direct and lead projects, and be able to make decisions. They will be able to work on both routine and ad hoc requests.

The role reports to the VP of Finance with close “dotted line” relationship to the Global Heads of FP&A and Commercial Finance.

You'll be:

  • Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Tasks include: planning and delivering the budget timeline/scope, coordinating with the Group FP&A team for submissions, training/assistance to budget users, production of business unit P&Ls, implementing rolling forecasts, assisting with presentations & production of a formal budget pack.
  • Building and setting up forecasting models where needed.
  • Supporting VP of Finance with preparation of monthly financial reports and the compilation of detailed analysis packs where required. The process involves liaison and coordination with the business units across the Company.
  • The key Finance Business Partner that provides business modelling for new projects and investments as well as supporting the Post Investment Review.
  • Working closely with Financial Control team, Group FP&A team and Group Commercial team to support month end reporting, analysis vs budgets/forecasts and commercial business cases.
  • Working closely with Demand & Merchandising, Sales and Operations teams to deliver latest view sales updates and stock cover reviews. This includes monitoring and validating the order book and its impact on sales delivery.
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of NA demand plans under guidance from Global teams and in close collaboration with local Sales and Operations teams
  • Advancing the quality of internal business reporting including digitalization of reporting via tools such as Power BI by working closely with the Global FP&A and Global BI team.
  • Performing Monthly/Quarterly reporting tasks including KPI reports & Projects & Risk.
  • Influencing decision making and provide constructive challenge for the business where possible.
  • Providing commercial analysis and ad hoc business support.
  • A part of project teams where relevant supporting both from a financial point of view as well as general business understanding and alerting management to issues arising.

You'll have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 5 years of experience in a financial operations role
  • Experience with budgeting and consolidation systems
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint and Word skills required, PowerBI experience a bonus
  • Project Management and communication skills with ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Outgoing character, capable of communicating with a diverse range of cultures and levels in an organization
  • Bright, proactive and a quick learner, with a strong attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and quantitative skills to analyze data and key trends quickly and easily for the business
  • Sense of urgency and ability to execute quickly and efficiently
  • High level of personal integrity, commitment to excellence, and a strong desire to learn
  • A strong self-starter as well as a good team player
  • Resiliency to work in a challenging and changing high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Credible operator with senior management locally and globally
