Job Summary

For those interested in Invento ry Technician role, this is the perfect job for you.  This role is essential in ensuring the efficient management of sample inventory and supporting procurement processes, with a significant focus on sample handling and coordination. The position is primarily onsite and will involve interacting with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Job Description

• Keep accurate records of sample stock and ensure proper storage. Order new raw materials (samples) from suppliers as needed.
• Process and fulfill sample requests from customers. Responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching sample deliveries, including preparing associated documents (Certificate of Analysis, MSDS).
• Handle inquiries via phone and email related to samples, and collaborate with the sales team to address any sample-related questions.
• Enter all administrative information related to sample requests into Salesforce. Maintain accurate tracking of sample inventory in both physical and digital formats.
• Assist with managing and dispatching prototype stock for marketing purposes.
• Update supplier prices in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) in a timely manner.
• Receive, distribute, and organize communications related to samples from digital platforms (Seppic US Website, Knowde, UL Prospector) and paper mail. Forward relevant information to the appropriate departments (Sales, Marketing).
• Assist the Marketing and Sales teams with their procurement requests and order entry into the ERP system.

Skills Required

• Strong organizational skills with a keen focus on accuracy, especially in the management of sample inventory.
• A strong sense of service and respect for deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable handling phone calls and emails.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Tools. Basic data entry experience in ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Self-sufficient with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years of experience in office administration or supply chain support roles preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Shift: 9AM - 5:30PM EST Time
• Must be able to work onsite, 5 days a week in Fairfield, NJ.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills.
