Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas

Pay Rate: $17 - $21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, production equipment. Small engine/Small Machine Maintenance tasks.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.

• Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities.

• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and parts required for repairs.

• Work collaboratively with other departments to address maintenance needs effectively.

• Propose and implement improvements to maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and preventive maintenance practices.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and diagrams.

• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA compliance).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Schedule:
