Core responsibilities:

- Conducting new admissions to the facility - Managing routine follow-ups and assessing residents' health conditions to determine a plan of care - Checking in with patients who have acute issues and establishing a follow-up plan - Reaching an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients' medical history - Prescribing and interpreting labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities - Prescribing medication and drugs - Collaborating with nurse practitioners and registered nurses to form a high-performing medical team - Cultivating a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients, family members, and the medical team

Requirements:

- Board certification - New York MD license - Excellent communication skills - Compassion - Responsibility and reliability

Schedule:

- Flexible days and hours - Full-time (40 hours/weekly) preferred - Part-time (minimum 18 hours/weekly) considered
