RN/LPN (Full-Time) Position Summary: This position role is a multi-skilled healthcare professional that provides professional and quality care by following established standards and practices. This role will be an integral part of a care team dedicated to serving our communities families and children.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtains and documents health history, information on chief complaint, takes vital signs, and accurately convey information to the provider.
- Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
- Administers injections and/or treatments that have been advised by the provider.
- Documents patient data using established medical record forms and accurately documents patient data in the electronic medical record.
- Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
- Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
- Responds to incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
- Ensure patient rooms are stocked, cleaned, orderly, and equipment is functioning properly.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Position Requirements:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and maintain professionalism in stressful environments.
- Extensive knowledge of pediatric vaccine schedule and the SC VFC program.
Licensing/Certification:
- Active South Carolina RN/LPN License
- Preferred 2 years' experience with pediatric point of care testing preferred.
Education: Post High School education from an accredited school of Nursing Require.
