Parts Counterperson

HW Kia of West County is looking for a Parts Counterperson to add to their team. Responsibilities include:

• Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Respond to emails and phone calls providing price quotes and information
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Review service estimates and ensure all parts are correct and in stock or on order
• Notify the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
• Issue and track requested shop tools to technicians.
• Replenishes assigned inventory daily
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
• Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of automotive technology and terminology
• CDK experience preferred
• Kia automotive brand experience a plus
• Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to change with the industry
• Ability to work while standing for extended hours
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
