Porter

Our busy restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking porter to join our team. The porter will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment for our staff and guests. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized, including the kitchen, dining room, and restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the restaurant.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Sweep and mop floors, as well as vacuum carpets.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory.
• Help with other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time.
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
