Property Accountant Location Lincolnwood, IL :

Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a motivated Property Accountant to join our team to design, implement, and monitor financial systems and protocols as it related to Skilled Nursing Facilities Financials.

Property Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and record daily banking transactions for assigned accounts. Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for all assigned accounts. Maintain and support effective banking protocols.
  • Responsible for preparing and posting the weekly payroll imports.
  • Prepares monthly payroll and vacation accruals including preparation of variances that exceed more than $500 for non-nursing departments and $2,000 for nursing departments.
  • Review fixed asset and repair general ledgers monthly to ensure all fixed assets and repairs are record properly in the general ledger.
  • Will enter and maintain monthly depreciation schedule in fixed asset software.
  • Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations to support month end closing process.
  • Coordinates all accounting processes that results into transactions from all subsystems into the general ledger.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Property Accountant Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy/proficiency in data entry.

Property Accountant Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
  • Minimum: 2-4 years related work experience
