Michelin Starred Chef Shaun Hergatt is growing its team!

Marrying raw and refined ingredients, VESTRY offers an inventive menu of seasonally-driven dishes crafted with global techniques. We are hiring Captains whose primary focus is hospitality and service , in the truest sense of the word, who embodies care and humility , and anticipates needs.

Please only apply if you meet all of these standards. 1 full year of fine dining/Michelin star restaurant experience required for this role. Must have availability from Monday-Saturday and flexible for work on Sundays for special occasions.

Server Duties & Essential Functions:

Care for our guests with a smile and positive attitude
Take and enter orders correctly and communicate flow with management and chefs
Knowledge of Micros a plus
Good understanding of wine, beer, classic cocktails.
Must be able to lift heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs).
Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time over multiple floors.
Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing is required.
Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as the business dictates.
Must be of legal age according to NY State regulations to serve alcohol (18 years).
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Food safety knowledge.
