Position Summary
The vCIO role with River Run serves as the client's most trusted technical advisor. This role manages the client relationship, drives the client's solutions road map, assists sales, and leads a team that performs technical services for our clients.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
For Our Clients:
- Set IT Road Map : Develop short and long-term IT objectives , align them with River Run client needs, and constant management of the road map on behalf of our clients.
- Manag e IT budgets: Creat e and manage with the client the IT budget aligned with the client's road map .
- Overseeing IT infrastructure: Continually provide advisement on IT infrastructure and ensur e it meets the latest technological and IT security standards
- Improv e business processes: Evaluate business processes and provide gap analysis on process and technology
- Manag e vendor relationships: Manges IT vendor relationships on behalf of the client and provid es advisement on vendor solutions
- Research new technologies : Provides advisement on new technological trends and aligns them with the business' long-term strategies
- Recommend best practices: Establishes best practices on behalf of the client and assists in adherence to best practices
- Provid e technical reporting: P resents monthly and quarterly performance reports
Skills & Experience
- Strategic Planning: Experience in creating a short and long-term technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives , identify key technology priorities, and evaluat e potential ROI on IT investments.
- Business Acumen: Expert in understanding business operations, financial metrics, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable IT strategies.
- Technology Expertise: Has In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and network infrastructure.
- Communication Skills: Clearly communicat e complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, present data-driven insights, and foster effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
- IT Project Management: Lead and manag e IT projects from initiation to completion, including scope definition, budget management, and risk mitigation.
- Vendor Management: Negoti ate contracts, manag e relationships with technology vendors, and ensur e optimal service delivery.
- Cybersecurity Awareness: Understand current cyber threats, implement robust security measures, and ensur e compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Data Analysis: Interpret data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and optimize IT operations.
- Change Management: Effectively guid e organizations through technological transitions and minimiz e disruption during implementation.
- Leadership Skills: Provid e strategic guidance, motivat e teams, and foster a culture of innovation within the IT department
Education
B achelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with extensive experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and leadership positions. (15+ Years Experience can be substitute for Education)
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, OSCP) preferred
