AutoSys Developer in Belfast

About the Role:

A leading Professional Services Company is seeking a skilled AutoSys Developer to work on a contract basis for a prominent Financial Services organization.

This role requires you to be onsite in Belfast 3 days a week, working within Equity Derivatives and Cash Equities teams.

You will work in an Agile and DevOps environment, self-organizing tasks with Business Analysts. The development team will own the continuous delivery pipeline through to production, striving to release frequently.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement scalable applications and services with a strong focus on quality, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Write testable code following clean coding and design principles, instilling best engineering practices across the firm.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to software quality, maintainability, and testability.
• Adapt to changes in priorities and requirements.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to define feature requirements and deliver impactful products.
• Collaborate with teams to foster a good working culture and adapt to different environments.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Autosys and Powershell.
• Maintaining scripts for end of day orchestration services.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of clean coding and design principles.
• Familiarity with programming languages, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
