Cabling Engineer

• Cable pulling, dressing in and termination & testing of voice, CAT6 and fibre cables within an Airport or Rail environment and must be able to complete the following tasks:
• Installing comms cables (CAT6, Voice and Fibre multicore)
• Installing of various types of containment (tray / basket)
• Termination of CAT6 panels and outlets
• Testing copper & fibre cables using Fluke DSX and OTDR preferred
• Patching cat6 and fibre cables
• Fault Finding issues.
• Termination of multicore Fibre using a splicer (Fujikura 60s / 70S experience and familiarity or similar preferred)
