Customer Focused Optical Assistant Role

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as an Optical Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous optical experience, looking to develop their skills and career in the optical industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care, and assisting with daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives.
• Assist with daily store operations, including preparing patients for eye exams and dispensing spectacles.
• Develop strong relationships with patients, building trust and loyalty through excellent communication and listening skills.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Salary: £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
• Passion for providing excellent customer service
• Teamworking and communication skills
• IT confidence and ability to learn new systems
• Ability to adapt and develop in a fast-paced environment
