We are seeking an Application Business Analyst to join our growing team!
In this position, you will provide internal support of technology used by the organization to enhance technology services for our internal users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring business needs and performance requirements of applications are met. The role requires technical skills across a breadth of technologies. Interaction with both user communities and the technical community is required.
How You Will Contribute
- Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.
- Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
- Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.
- Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
- Testing and Deployment of end product - documentation, training, follow through and support.
- Requires stronger communication skills, along with facilitation, prioritization, and scope management.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Foundational knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Experience providing support for Insurance related Agency Management Systems and related applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
- Experience in DevOps, Jira or equivalent development tools. (preferred)
Pay Range $70,000 - $75,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
