Assistant Coordinator, Wellness

Summary

Mange the front desk at the Baylor College of Medicine (Baylor) Wellness Center. Provides assistance and provides courteous customer service to members and staff.   

Job Duties

• Monitors admittance into the wellness center and ensures that the Baylor wellness center members and staff perform their daily duties and adhere to all gym policies and procedures.
• Maintains and replaces equipment.
• Answers phone, collects guest fees, and coordinates tournaments.
• Ensures safe work environment, keeps wellness center clean and organized.
• Communicates effectively with gym members and management staff.
• Reports any incident of injury, theft, or broken equipment to management.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• No experience required.   

Preferred Qualifications

• Working weekends is required and some night shifts ending at 9pm. 
• CPR/ First Aid Certified.
