Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and bake a variety of products, including pies, muffins, breads, and laminated pastries such as croissants. • Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality across all items. • Manage production schedules to ensure timely preparation and baking of products. • Handle lamination processes with precision, creating layers for puff pastry and croissants. • Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality during production. • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations. • Assist with scaling, mixing, and shaping doughs as needed. • Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals efficiently. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a baker in a professional kitchen or bakery. • Proficiency in lamination and working with various dough types. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Ability to work early morning shifts, starting as early as 4 a.m. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
