Construction Driver

TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position.

March 24 to March 28 & May 12 to May 16, 2025

In-person interviews will be held on the morning of Saturday, February 15, 2025.

POSITION SUMMARY: Operate tractor-trailer for Festival material transport and provide local driving support for warehouse shipments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Secure cargo with chains, straps or other devices to allow for safe transportation at all times.
• Movement of Festival materials at Festival warehouse and Fair Grounds, under direction of Transportation Coordinator, in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Utilize the Absentee Request Form for accurate reporting of absenteeism.
• Maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
• Submit any intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival to the Festival Finance Office as required.
• Attend and complete all required training sessions.
• Submit Feedback Forms and Final Reports promptly.
• Perform any additional work-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Prefer event production experience. Need three to five years of truck driving experience and a valid CDL operator’s license. Must be able to lift heavy objects, work long hours in various weather conditions, and handle stressful situations.
