Construction Estimator

************Construction experience, knowledge, and estimate writing using Xactimate (or comparable) is vital and required for this position.************

Primary duties include:

• Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software
• Writes reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
• Estimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer
• Communicates with project manager to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
• Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison 
• Creating and cultivate relationships with insurance adjusters
• Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks
• Addresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner
• Having constant and professional communication with our customers  

Desired Qualities:

• Efficiency in Xactimate software. 
• Min. 2 years of experience in construction 
• Proficient in computer and phone usage 
• Exposure to Microsoft or comparable 
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background and pre-employment drug screening 
• Must have an Oregon Driver's License with a clean driving record 
• Must have minimum 3 years construction industry experience.
