Controller COMPANY PROFILE: With an extensive history in manufacturing and success, our client is located in the Sioux Falls, SD area and they are constantly aiming to please both customers and employees. Local control at corporate. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: • Report to CFO. • Accounting Operations Management: Oversees all accounting systems and records, including cash receipts, expenditures, payroll, and inventory, ensuring accurate financial documentation and record-keeping. • Team Leadership and Supervision: Manages and guides accounting staff, supervises payroll and accounts payable teams, and ensures timely, accurate completion of tasks while upholding productivity and quality standards. 2-3 Direct Reports. • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Assists in developing and maintaining financial reporting systems, prepares annual budgets, reconciles bank accounts, manages cash flow, and ensures adherence to internal controls, filing deadlines, and confidentiality protocols. • Audit and Continuous Improvement: Leads annual audits, authorizes financial transactions, verifies ledger entries, and maintains professional knowledge by engaging in educational and industry activities

Job Requirements

BACKGROUND PROFILE: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business with Accounting, CPA a plus. • 5+ Years Supervisory Experience in financial reporting. • Experience with large automated accounting system – a plus. • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills.
