Diesel Technician

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Technician, specializing in GM training (EV and/or diesel engines preferred for GM brand). Job Responsibilities: * Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty. * Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication. * Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair. * Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers * Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate * Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur * Maintains an organized work area * Other duties assigned by manager Job Requirements: * Automotive Service Technician experience * ASE certification desirable * Excellent customer service * Strong communication skills * Valid Driver’s License * 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy * Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local/law regulations.
