As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and maintenance of diesel vehicles including trucks, vans, and buses. This job also involves diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engine issues and providing top-notch customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on diesel vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues and provide effective and efficient solutions
- Perform inspections and identify any potential problems with the vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services provided
- Communicate effectively with customers and other team members
- Operate various tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic in the auto industry required, Ford experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
