Dishwasher

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, cookware, and glassware are washed and sanitized efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities: Wash dishware, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. - Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly. - Remove trash and recycling from various areas and dispose of them in designated receptacles. - Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing area. - Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. - Support team members with their tasks as needed and pitch in during busy times. - Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is preferred but not required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of dishware. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. - Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
