Job Overview

The EDI Analyst manages and optimizes the Order to Cash process through electronic data interchange (EDI). Responsibilities include overseeing inbound and outbound transactions, troubleshooting errors, collaborating with trading partners, and implementing EDI solutions to enhance workflows and align with organizational goals. The role requires detail-oriented problem-solving skills, strong collaboration, and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as the SME for EDI transactions, coordinating the Order to Cash process. * Onboard and manage trading partners for accurate document exchange setup. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with sales orders, invoices, and acknowledgments. * Ensure seamless integration of purchase orders, acknowledgments, shipping notices, and invoices. * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve processing issues and train stakeholders on EDI best practices. * Partner with third-party EDI providers to design and implement tailored EDI solutions. * Maintain and update EDI documentation, mappings, and configurations. * Analyze EDI processes for continuous improvement and workflow automation. * Perform system maintenance, testing, and root cause analysis for errors, providing corrective actions. * Use data analytics to monitor EDI performance and drive decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. * Minimum 3 years of EDI experience; 1+ year with EDI partners (SPS Commerce a plus). * Knowledge of data transport methods (VAN, AS2, SOAP, SFTP, * Familiarity with EDI standards (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 997) and ERP business applications. * Functional understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain, or Finance processes. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. * Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, or Microsoft D365 F&O is a plus.
