Reporting to the Construction Supervisor, theField Installeris responsible for the safe and efficientassembly of fabrication and building erection activities within our Calgary mod yard and off-site client locations.If you like working outdoors and have previous installer experience, we want to hear from you! GOOD TO KNOW Monday-Friday shift with opportunitiesfor extra overtime Competitive rates A DAY IN THE LIFE Installs steel and sheet metal structures, panels, and components Participates in the construction process of modular steel units Operates tools necessary for construction, including hand power tools Ensures the quality of assembly production Completes housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area on a daily basis and/or when required. Knows, understands and follows PTW'sCode of Conduct and employment policies, rules and regulations Complies with standards and procedures of PTW'shealth & safety manual and Occupational Health & Safety regulations EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous general labourer or construction experience Previous experience with steel or sheet metal products an asset Previous experience working outdoors in all-weather conditions Ability to work on structures 20 to 30 feet off of the ground Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and confident manner Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly Understand and follow oral and written directions Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions Must be willing to travel within Calgary and Western Canada to site locations Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
