Home Care Aide

Destiny Healthcare Services is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Aide to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential personal care services and companionship to clients in their homes. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $17.5 per hour. This role is vital in helping our clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. • This is a full-time position, with a salary of $17.50 per hour.
• Employees are paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication administration, as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and changing bed linens.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments, as needed.
• Engage in conversation and provide companionship to clients.
• Report any changes in a client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Social Security Card
