Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the fintech services or microfinance sector. Strong understanding of Kazakhstan’s labor laws and HR best practices. Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills in Kazakh, Russian and English. Ability to work independently and set up processes from scratch. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 1. HR Strategy and Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and local labor laws in Kazakhstan. Develop standard HR documents such as employee handbooks, job descriptions, contracts, and internal communication templates. Implement HR software or systems for managing employee data, attendance, performance, and payroll. 2. Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring for open positions. Develop and manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires. Build relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources to develop a pipeline for current and future hiring needs. 3. Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters and provide guidance on policies, benefits, and company procedures. Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, handling grievances, and promoting an inclusive work environment. Help to shape and maintain a positive company culture, promoting core values such as transparency, collaboration, and integrity. 4. Performance Management and Development: Assist in establishing a performance review system and help managers conduct evaluations and feedback sessions. Identify training and development needs, and coordinate or arrange for employee training sessions to enhance skills and performance. Provide support in setting up career development plans for employees. 5. Compensation and Benefits Administration: Assist in administering the company's salary structure, ensuring it remains competitive in the market. Oversee employee benefits programs (health, insurance, leave, etc.) and ensure employees are informed about available options. Support the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees. 6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure the company is in compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in Kazakhstan. Maintain employee records, contracts, and other HR documentation in compliance with local laws and company policies. Prepare regular HR reports on key metrics such as employee turnover, attendance, and recruitment status for senior management.
