We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Assistant to join our team. This position will provide critical support in loan processing, including TRID loans, and assist with some bank operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Support:
• Assist loan officers with processing and preparing loan documentation, including TRID-compliant loans.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of loan applications and disclosures.
• Maintain loan files and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate with borrowers, title companies, and other stakeholders to coordinate loan closings.
Operations Assistance:
• Support daily banking operations, including account maintenance, reporting, and general administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
• Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and record-keeping as needed.
Customer Service:
• Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers, answering loan-related inquiries.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in loan processing, banking operations, or a similar role. TRID loan experience is strongly preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in finance, business, or related field is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge: Understanding of TRID compliance and general banking regulations is a plus.
