Position Overview: As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive commission without any draw. We provide warm and cold leads to help you succeed in your role.
Compensation Structure:
Up to 5 points (500 BPS) for FHA/VA loans Up to 6 points (600 BPS) for conventional loans All brokered loans pay between 125 to 150 BPS Flexible work arrangements: remote, in-office, or hybrid About Us: We are a team of passionate individuals committed to helping borrowers understand the mortgage process and make informed decisions. What Positions Are Available? We have three types of commission-based positions available for independent contractors:
Experian Trigger Leads Call Center Representatives: Reach out to borrowers who have inquired with other lenders to provide them with competitive quotes. Self-Generation: Cultivate organic business through your own network. Home IQ: Offer free systems to realtors to maintain relationships with past clients, create landing pages, and leverage social media. Our Strengths: We empower our Loan Officers and Account Executives by providing a "borrower-paid" commission structure with no splits through our direct lending line. This allows us to offer some of the most competitive compensation and rates in the market, enabling our team to work closely with borrowers and close deals effectively.
We also offer a wide range of loan programs, including traditional lending, hard money, non-QM, reverse mortgages, and more, allowing our team members to meet diverse market needs without any limitations.
Key Responsibilities:
Originate and sell residential mortgages, engaging in outside sales and maintaining client relationships. Collaborate with real estate agents, financial planners, individual borrowers, and builders. Gather and compile necessary financial documentation from applicants. Meet with applicants to assist with loan applications and clarify the process. Educate customers on various loan types, credit options, and terms. Review loan agreements for accuracy and compliance with policies. Ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies. Maintain high-quality customer service and resolve any client concerns. Manage the loan pipeline to ensure timely funding and facilitate the loan process. Engage with various corporate functions to improve servicing processes and minimize risks. Stay updated on new loan types and financial products to better serve clients. Perform business development activities to enhance production and maintain client relationships. Other duties as assigned. Essential Functions:
Originate residential mortgage loans, overseeing the application and processing phases. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while seeking new opportunities. Make informed decisions based on data analysis and experience, articulating recommendations effectively. Meet company goals and maintain all necessary licensing requirements, including continuing education. Minimum Qualifications:
NMLS state and federal license required. Familiarity with conventional and/or government lending guidelines. Understanding of underwriting and closing procedures, as well as federal regulations. Team-oriented with a strong focus on customer service. Highly organized and self-motivated. Proficient with FHA and HUD guidelines. Strong computer skills, including experience with MS applications and laptop technology. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze complex financial data and offer alternatives. Professional interpersonal skills.
