Supply chain facility managers are responsible for implementing, measuring, and directing all supply chain activities for distribution services, including but not limited to, perpetual inventory, receiving, distribution and warehouse -when applicable-within the facility under the direction of the site supply chain director.

Collaborates with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure supply needs are met in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Primary contact for vendors regarding vendor performance, concern resolutions and standardization,

Ensures supervision is always on site to support the team,

Attire should be business-appropriate,

High School Diploma required

A degree preferred

Healthcare experience preferred

3+ years of supply chain management experience required

Microsoft Office required

Experience with an ERP - Enterprise resources planning system required

Excellent customer service skills required

Risk of injury from equipment used in moving products,

Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs,

All departments, patients, family, visitors, nursing, clinical and medical staff,

Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training, and initiatives,

Manages facility supply chain staff and operations in receiving, distribution, linen, warehouse, storeroom, and other areas as assigned.

Collaborates with the site supply chain director to ensure all performance metrics are met or exceeded.

Identifies cost-savings opportunities and presents them to the site supply chain director and clinical resource director for consideration,

Conducts documented daily and monthly rounding and audits for survey readiness relevant to RWJBH, DOH and TJC standards,

Ensures that all actionable findings are addressed timely,

Acts as a subject-matter expert for special projects, including training support in the various systems,

Responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunction, and facility damage i,e,

walls, ceiling tiles, etc,

Performs all other duties as assigned

Days 8am-4:30Pm

Monday-Friday Weekend/Holiday as needed
