Online German Instructor - Remote | WFH

Are you passionate about teaching German and creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences? We're looking for dedicated and enthusiastic German Language Instructors to teach online courses to middle and high school students, typically between the ages of 12 and 18. Our students take German as part of their World Language requirement, and we offer a range of courses from Levels 1-6+, including conversational and test preparation classes.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, one-on-one German lessons online via Microsoft Teams. Assign, review, and provide feedback on homework and projects. Monitor and document student progress and grades. Prioritize student engagement and foster an environment that supports student success. Exhibit genuine respect and consideration for all students, adapting to their individual learning needs.

Requirements:

1-2+ years of experience teaching German, either online or in a traditional classroom setting. Proficiency in German at a native or near-native level. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Availability in US time zones (PST), especially during evening hours.

Additional Information:

This is a contract position with flexible hours. Candidates must have the legal ability to work in the US or possess an international contract if residing outside the US. Compensation is competitive and based on teaching experience, educational background, and other relevant qualifications.
