Who we are seeking:
Are you always following the latest trends in eyewear, and are you fascinated with the way corrective lenses work in the athle tic space? If so, we may have the right role for you. The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering quality optical care wit h outstanding and friendly customer service. You must be able to assis t customers wit h eyeglasses fittings, y ou must also posses s strong sales skills by demonstratin g a high leve l of knowledge about our products and determinin g our customers' needs for eyewear so you can recommend specific accessories or enhancements.
What you will be doing:
- Providing excellent customer service in person, on the phone, text , email and through online chat.
- Interpret the results of eye examinations, using prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists
- Assist ing customers by r ecommending lenses, coatings, and frames to suit customers' needs Specific customers may need special eyewear for sports, occupational use, or various tints and anti-reflective coatings.
- Advising patients on frame weights, materials, styles, and colors
- Us ing prescription information from the doctor and the patient's preferences, face shape and other factors to help select the appropriate pair of eyeglasses, frames, and lenses.
- Giv ing product recommendations to patients based on their vision needs and lifestyle, such as frame construction, lens material and lens coatings.
- Provid ing education to customers about their eyewear needs.
- Anticipat e problems, explore underlying reasons for issues. Strives to develop solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Remain ing knowledgeable about products offered and discussing available options.
What you will bring:
- 1- 2 years of experience in an optical setting .
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer ser vice practices.
- Basic Math skills and cognitive ability .
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs .
- Working knowledge of customer / market dynamics and requirements.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus .
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner .
- Availability to work flexible shifts.
- Previous experience as an optician and/or ABO-certified preferred .
