The Quality Coordinator will be developing and implementing quality assurance throughout the entirety of Precision's work flow operations.

This position is part of the Compliance department in Bellmore, NY and will be located on-site.

You will be part of the Operations team and report directly to the COO. This role involves overseeing maintenance of high standards of quality within all operational processes to ensure effectiveness in the delivery of compounded medications. In this role, you will have to opportunity to:

• Quality Control and Inspection :

  • Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Use measurement tools and equipment to ensure products meet specified tolerances and standards.

• Testing and Analysis :

  • Perform routine testing and quality checks on products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Record and analyze test results, identifying trends or anomalies.

• Documentation and Reporting :

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, test results, and quality data.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports of findings and corrective actions.

• Compliance and Standards :

  • Support internal and external audits as required.

• Process Improvement :

  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for quality improvement.
  • Recommend and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

• Equipment Maintenance :

  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with testing equipment.

• Training and Support :

  • Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and updating of quality documentation, such as SOPs and work instructions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in quality, process improvement, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and testing equipment
  • Familiarity with quality standards such as Six Sigma.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  Knowledge:

  • Quality Management Systems: Understanding of quality management principles and tools used in pharmaceutical settings.

  Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Software: Familiarity with quality management software and tools for data analysis and record-keeping.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
