Receptionist

Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a motivated individual who is responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting guests and applicants, and portraying a professional image to the general public.

Hours and Wages:

• Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-5:00PM
• Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
• Starting wage: $16.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs all incoming calls to the correct department or individual
• Greets and assists visitors and applicants in a professional and friendly manner
• Sorts and files various paperwork for departments
• Opens and closes front lobby
• Takes messages via paper or email for appropriate department or individual
• Updates phone directory
• Assists with other projects as needed

Experience and Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• Clerical or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle a large call volume
• Work requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
