Service Advisor

Job description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and customer service, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients regarding their automotive needs. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction while managing service operations efficiently. Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs.
• Provide customers detailed explanations of services and repairs needed for vehicles.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to align customer concerns with appropriate services.
• Prepare work orders and transmit information to the service department for processing.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
• Collaborate with Service Technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to vehicle maintenance or service.
• Assist in managing the overall workflow of the service department, ensuring high-quality auto service management.
• Applies knowledge of warranty/repair work and preventive maintenance within the industry.
• Must Maintain a High Customer Satisfaction Rate.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is a must.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in areas such as air brake systems and general vehicle maintenance.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in service writing , demonstrating an understanding of documenting customer requests accurately.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay Plan will be determined by experience. Certification/Licenses: * Must have a valid Driver's License-Must meet insurance underwriting requirements.
